- 3/20/2002 Was one of the lead developers for the Synopsys
eLearning version of Advanced Chip Synthesis and the new modular version.
She was responsible for the storyboards (breaking the live class material
into lesson modules and specifying links and pop-up sections, etc), the
quiz question generation (for computer-graded lesson quizzes), the glossary
generation, the FAQ pages on content and labs, the references collection,
the generation of the audio script (for recording) and the coordination
for the Beta class, scheduled for July 30th. Vitalect
is the development partner. The class has been released and is on-line
at www.Vitalect.com/synopsys.
She has served as a content developer for the Educational Training Services department of Synopsys, Inc. in Mountain View CA. She has served as the lead developer and Senior Staff Instructor for the Chip Synthesis workshop - design methodology for 6Million gates and bigger IC designs, and the CD Advisor for Advanced Chip Synthesis, Chip Architect and PrimeTime. She was a member of the Web-Based Training Tiger Team developing high-tech training for web delivery, and was responsible for helping to set the conversion flow and the processes for the conversion of live instruction technical workshops to eLearning format. Donnamaie completed a Professional Certificate in Marketing Communications from UCSD in 1994 and obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Master's degree in Engineering (MSEE) from UCLA in 1974 and 1969 respectively. She has authored over 40 technical papers and dozens of technical seminars and user manuals on CAD modeling, fault detection, Boolean logic, bit-slice design, structured microprogramming, ASIC design and EDA-ASIC design flow methodologies. She is the past designer/developer and webmaster of of the IMP web site, the SIARC CBA on-line training website and an ASIC intranet site at AMCC. She also is the author of the following hard-cover texts:
Dr. White is currently the webmaster for a number of websites, including the Fabio International Fan Club. She is the author of the science-fiction romance novel Jettison.
